Please Fasten Your Seatbelts…Turbulence Ahead..
I started Turbulence Training on Monday. I started with the Beginner level workout from the Original Turbulence Training For Fat Loss. I will be honest. When I read through the workout it looked easy, but when I was finished I KNEW I was going to be hurting the next day.
And I DID.
Stability Ball Leg Curls are NO FUN. I had never done that movement before and let me tell you it was 3 days before I could get out of a chair, or my truck without groaning.
Pushups are one of my least favorite exercises, and there’s a LOT of them in Turbulence Training. I got through it though which is why my poor arms were so sore the next three days too.
I really felt like I had NEVER worked out before until Monday, when I woke up Tuesday Morning. I was so SORE it was like when I first started Body For LIfe.
I have modified this week’s workouts because I just got the ability to walk straight again today..tee hee. This week ended up being a trial run, and I’ll officially start the REAL rotation Monday. So this means my official start date is September 29, and my finish date is December 21.
I’ll tell you one thing. I won’t ever get BORED with this… The workouts change completely every 4 weeks and get more difficult in order to keep challenging you, which means you don’t plateau. YAY!
My only hope is that I don’t hurt for DAYS every time the workouts change…ok maybe that wouldn’t be too bad…tee hee. I’ve always been a little bit of a masochist.
Peace out Peeps!! Gotta get my kiddos to bed and head there soon myself.

Cat,

They don’t necessarily get THAT MUCH more difficult; I always feared they would, was scared the first day, but I was always stronger and ready for them. If you’re gonna build your weights up over the 4 weeks of each Workout, your first week doesn’t have to kill ya! The first week is always gonna be a strain and a muscle ache just because it’s a NEW workout; that’s one of the things I love about TT. But don’t kill yerself; ya don’t wanna get an injury to put you out of commission for months.
Are you doing the interval after the bodyweight, or another day? Are you dripping wet after the bodyweight workout?!
By the way, I too couldn’t believe that measly “Stability Ball Leg Curls;” it seemed like such a puny workout but I could barely keep on the ball at first. But I was amazed to see myself get stronger and steadier on this exercise.
I’m just finally beginning activity/exercise with the Fat Loss Troubleshoot Metabolism REPAIR. my log is at
